SXSW 2012 Day 2

Our second day of SXSW was a long one. I think we headed downtown around 12 or 1 because we needed to pick up our Fader Fort wristbands. We spent the day walking around downtown, exploring The Driskill Hotel, talking to a very opinionated perfumer who spent two hours conversing with us about society, relationships, careers, and pretty much anything else he wanted a female opinion on (we didn’t anticipate this one either), and sitting under the shadow of the capitol building.

We had planned on seeing HelloGoodbye that night, but there ended up being a $20 cover and we weren’t about to spend that much on a show when there were so many free ones going on. After fueling up on some bratwurst from a street cart, we popped into Vice to see Delta Spirit. The venue was PACKED and we all enjoyed an incredibly fun show. Talented, talented musicians. Since this post is getting lengthy I’m going to save those pictures for a post of their own…

I’d just like to give a shout-out to my feet for hanging in there on this marathon of a day!
