There are very few things in life quite as meaningful as a good friend. Katie and I have the type of friendship which I believe started long before we officially met. People would often tell us that we’d get along swimmingly due to our shared interests in music, but we never seemed to cross paths at the right time. I am so glad we finally did! This past year has been full of wonderful conversations, fellowship, and a whole lot of silliness. I think we tend to unleash the crazy in each other.
With her graduation coming up later this month, Katie asked me if I’d be willing to take some graduation portraits for her. Uhm, of course. So we spent the afternoon last Sunday walking around the Los Angeles Central Library and Bunker Hill. It was a warm, early-summer day and the light was spectacular.
Katie has quite the affinity for Hello Kitty and all things cats.
Katie, you’re beautiful and I love you! I am so proud of you and excited for your graduation. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you. I know God has amazing things in store!
